After trying out a more unique menu design to fit their unique restaurants, The Darlin Group decided to re-design their menu to have a softer, but equally as unique of a feel.

The inspiration behind this menu is something that easy to read, but not boring to look at. Coupling illustration with quirky borders on each page, I have taken a ‘typical’ menu layout and turned it into a gorgeous peice of artwork for every customer to see.

The Darlin Group is known for boldly decorated restaurants and gorgeous cocktails. It’s only fitting that their cocktail specials menu mimics that sentiment.

Their cocktails need no adornment and the simple images on a black background with cleverly placed text, you have an easy to read menu that clearly shows the customer what they will be enjoying. And of course it’s fun to look at. This design has skyrocketed cocktail sales.

Redesigned menu for the Village Crown. Requested by The Darlin Group on behalf of the Village Crown (Zetland, NSW). This menu is also used by The Village Narellan (Narellan, NSW) and The Stoned Crow (Crows Nest, NSW). 

The company wish to redesign their menu from simple and minimal to something memorable and well designed. They liked the idea of having everything on the menu be unique, with a vintage feel. 

The Village Crown embraces beautiful high ceilings, our 200 capacity industrial building transforms from a light, airy, sun trap on those sunny Sydney days, to a cosmopolitan hangout in the evening. Allow your morning brunch to unfold to champagne at mid-day, complimenting each moment with some delights from our extensive food menu offering a wide selection of Pizza, Burgers and much more.
